Hello families, I'm a 26 year old female completing a Bachelor of Business (International Business) at Swinburne University. I am looking for a family or families to work with on a permanent, long term basis while I finish university (2 years). My major experience comes from the care of my younger siblings (G10, B8) from newborn onwards. My sister is on the Spectrum of Autism, so I am familiar with the NDIS and feel comfortable caring for more challenging children. My professional experience: - Aged between 6 months and 15 years. - Assisting with homework and learning from home. - Housekeeping duties including deep cleaning and general maintenance. - Active and imaginative play. - Accompanying children to extracurricular activities. - Cooking healthy and well-balanced meals (I am vegetarian, however, I am happy to cook meat products). - Managing nighttime routine when evening work is necessary. - Caring for pets. Other experience: - I worked in the fitness industry for 4 years. - I am well-traveled with lots of fun stories. - I am a movie and television-buff. - I have a CRAZY 1-year-old Border Collie x Cocker Spaniel - I have an adventurous spirit. I currently hold: - WWCC - HLTAID003 Provide First Aid - HLTAID002 Basic Emergency Life Support - HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - 22300VIC First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis - 22282VIC The Management of Asthma, Risks and Emergencies in the Workplace My references would consider me to be a caring, fun and responsible carer with a strong ability to both connect and understand a child at any age, assuring the parents are confident in my ability to be both nurturing and firm and the children are comfortable and trusting in my care. I look forward to hearing from prospective families soon. Kind regards, Ebonie Rodda
