Hi, I’m Frances! ☺️ I’ve been working in Early Childhood Education since 2020 and in Outside School Hours Care since 2024 - I am qualified to educate children aged 0-5 and care for children aged 0-12. In most of the daytime, I work as a relief educator and carer for ANZUK & Kelly Club. I’m a major travel freak and love meeting children from all walks of life - and I fell in love with the teams in these organisations. Speaking of being a travel freak - I am home-based in Melbourne but I can also travel to work in North-East Victoria (between Seymour and Wodonga) due to major family ties in Wangaratta. I am also available to work South-West Victoria (between Winchelsea and Terang), and the 1st half of Gippsland (between Nar Nar Goon and Sale). If I’m travelling interstate and I see a job pop up while I’m visiting I’ll happily accept it! My qualifications include a Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care, First Aid (including CPR, Asthma, EpiPen & Anapen training), Child Protection (Mandatory Reporting) and in food handling. I am also finishing up a Cert III in Disability Support. I also have my Working With Children Check and have a police check ready too. I like to make a habit of bringing my ANZUK lanyard to me on a job to assert my identity so you feel comfortable leaving your children in my care. In terms of education and care, I have firm beliefs in structure, routine and consistency - I query the parents thoroughly over their child’s routine at home so I can follow it accordingly. I love giving the children personal space so they can learn they can trust me, but still have engaging play and interaction with them. I strongly believe in risk-taking within reason, and natural consequences, as children are capable of making their own choices and problem-solving, but still have firm, reassuring boundaries for them, so they know they are safe with me. I have this pedagogy in accordance to the EYLF Outcomes 3 (Children have a strong sense of wellbeing), and 4 (Children are confident and involved learners). A little about me as well - I have a background in music and love to sing! I can speak French and Japanese at an intermediate level but I AM rusty, so please feel free to help me brush up on them! Music-wise I’m a big Rock, Punk and Metal fan - and I believe introducing children to different genres of music is crucial - and my goal is to leave children with an educated and sophisticated taste in music. I am NOT shy introducing the children to some Queen, Beatles, maybe even a bit of the Ramones, Iron Maiden, and Grailknights! Let me know what your children love and I’d love to share our tastes in music together! And even though this is a bit of a stretch to put on my profile, I want to be honest with parents as well - I’m progressive and secular so I welcome all religions and cultures, and am thrilled to learn other family’s perspectives! Please do let me know if there’s any customs you would like me to follow in your home. ☺️ thanks so much for reading! I hope I can be a good fit for your family. 💕

We absolutely loved Frances! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Communication with her was amazing from the very beginning. She connected so naturally with our baby, who felt happy and safe with her right away. Frances was also incredibly tidy — she left all the toys beautifully organized (honestly more than I ever do myself! 😅), and after feeding Cami, she even cleaned her bib and made sure everything was spotless. Her attention to detail and sweet nature really stood out. We’d hire her again a thousand times —highly recommended!

I have known Fran for quite some time now personally and even gotten her to watch my children a few times. I don't trust many with my kids, but I do trust Fran, through our discussions on parenting and seeing her firsthand with my own children has shown me that her values align with my own.
She is a very compassionate person while also able to use critical thinking, I have never met a woman in her generation have her work ethic and is always doing something... it's refreshing.
I would be more than happy to be a personal reference for her because I have seen her compassion and hard work in person, she is a very genuine individual, and my children are always ecstatic to see her.
